Dear Blog:

剛剛完成了一個感覺好像有怎麼樣, 結果真正放到 blog 上後卻看起來不怎麼樣的banner.
或許是因為想要趕快生出一張可以取代的圖反而沒有用到心mmm.
沒讀書就算了還犧牲掉了寶貴的睡眠時間我想這就是所謂的 "賠了夫人又折兵"

- read a 564 pgs hist book (nope, none of that)
- read 5 chapters of another hist book (*cough*)
- prepare for a hist presentaion (no, not that either)
- study for a history midterm (only read one chapter, does that count?)
- study for an Asia 352 test (not that important anyway =P)
- laser tag
- picnic in stanley park (phew, finally)
- photo shoot w/ ann
- conquer the world.

things i achieved.

- i cleaned my room
- i made a poster
- i ate lots
- i played maple almost every night
- i finished a few chapters of Da Vinci's Code
- i picnic-ed in stanley park
- i conquerd a craving for chocolate bar in 2 a.m.

This reading break turned out to be unexciting and unproductive, as expected.

Possible Histories of Valentines' Day:

01.
One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served

during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II

decided that single men made better soldiers than those with

wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men --

his crop of potential soldiers. Valentine, realizing the injustice

of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform

marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions

were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

Other stories suggest that Valentine may have been killed for

attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons

where they were often beaten and tortured.

02.
According to one legend, Valentine actually sent the first

'valentine' greeting himself. While in prison, it is believed

that Valentine fell in love with a young girl -- who may

have been his jailor's daughter -- who visited him during

his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he

wrote her a letter, which he signed 'From your Valentine,'

an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth

behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories certainly

emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic, and, most

importantly, romantic figure. It's no surprise that by the

Middle Ages, Valentine was one of the most popular saints

in England and France.

我記得在大一,二的時候 我從來沒剪過一次頭髮
(至少我是這麼記得的)
然而不是因為很珍惜頭毛還是什麼之類的
真正原因.. 其實我也不知道

2003
當數位像機還未盛行
視訊才是王道的時候
我也沒忘記要留下我的青春風采

今年應該可以算是尺度真正有開始在轉變
好像上半年清純的很
